Installation

Installing WidgetStack from Google Play

WidgetStack is now publicly available on Google Play. Install it like a normal Play Store app, then add widgets through the Android widget picker.

Install WidgetStack

  • Open WidgetStack on Google Play.
  • Install the app like any normal Play Store download.
  • Open WidgetStack and add widgets through the Android widget picker.
  • If you were part of testing, leave the testing program first if needed.

Looking for early builds and in-progress widgets? WidgetStack Next is the separate experimental track, while the main WidgetStack app stays focused on stable public releases.

If you were part of testing

If you previously used a testing build, you may need to leave the testing program before switching fully to the public version.

If you installed an older self-hosted APK, uninstall that version first. Google Play cannot install over a manually installed APK that uses a different signing key.
