OndaSupply Lab
WidgetStack Next is where new widgets are released early, tested in public, and refined in shorter loops before they move into the main WidgetStack app.
It runs through a self-hosted APK so builds can ship the moment they are ready, without waiting on store approval. Some ideas will evolve quickly. Some will be reworked. Some may never graduate.
That is the point.
Stable widgets graduate into the main WidgetStack app once they are ready.
Lab status
This is not a separate product line. It is the earlier, more experimental stage of WidgetStack.
Direct APK delivery keeps the loop short between build, feedback, revision, and release.
Why it exists
Entry points
This overview stays public, while deeper lab pages are reserved for builders with active access.
Browse the current testing builds, experiments, and in-progress widget releases.
Builder access required
Read changes, known issues, test goals, and what is currently under review.
Builder access required
Explore ideas and concepts that may become future builds or new widget directions.
Builder access required
Current testing cycle
WidgetStack Next exists to reduce the distance between an idea and real use. A widget does not need to be final to be useful for learning.
Release early
New builds go out as soon as they are ready to be tested, not only when they are polished.
Observe real use
Feedback, friction points, and edge cases show up faster when widgets are used on real home screens.
Refine decisively
The goal is not endless experimentation. The goal is to learn quickly and move the best work forward.
Graduation pipeline
WidgetStack Next is not just a place to dump betas. It is a process for testing what deserves a public release.
New ideas begin as rough concepts, experiments, or early design directions.
A build is released through WidgetStack Next so it can be used on real devices.
Feedback, bugs, and edge cases shape the next pass until the direction feels right.
Once a widget proves itself, it moves toward a more stable and polished release.
Finished widgets are moved into the public app where everyone can use them.
Lab board
A mix of proposals, early concepts, and active builds. Some of these will evolve quickly, some will change direction, and some may never move forward.
Status indicates where each item is in the lab pipeline.

A horizontal control surface focused on motion, rhythm, and continuous interaction rather than static display.
Proposed · Idea stage, not yet in active public testing.

A playful, fluid interface that leans into movement, softness, and a more expressive, less rigid layout.
Proposed · Idea stage, not yet in active public testing.

A dense, device-like interface built around tactile controls, compact information, and a strong sense of machinery.
Proposed · Idea stage, not yet in active public testing.

A retro-inspired object focused on simplicity, familiarity, and a more playful, approachable form factor.

Emerging patterns
As builds evolve, patterns begin to emerge. These are not fixed categories, but recurring directions forming through testing and iteration.
Playful systems
Interfaces that lean into softness, motion, and personality rather than strict utility.
Device-like controls
Dense, tactile layouts that feel like physical objects rather than flat UI.
Ambient glass
Calmer, translucent interfaces focused on atmosphere, light, and subtle depth.
Utility-first structure
Cleaner, more restrained layouts prioritizing clarity, hierarchy, and everyday use.
Experimental forms
Unconventional shapes and interactions that challenge standard widget expectations.
